British Insurance Award Winners!

Merlin is delighted to announce that it was the proud recipient of the Customer Care Award at the prestigious British Insurance Awards ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall on the 4th July 2007.

AMG's submission featured the "Service in the Spotlight" initiative which was designed to further improve Customer Service at all levels of the business, both internal and external. The overall objective was to preserve the Company's position as market leader for Customer Care within the Adjusting sector, whilst exploiting innovation to exceed Customer expectations.

The programme involved personnel from all levels of the business and since implementation has delivered service improvements in the Supply Chain, consistent Client retention, reduced complaint levels and significantly increased Customer Satisfaction feedback.

Kevin Wood, AMG's Group Managing Director and recipient of the Award commented, "We are delighted to be recognised by the Industry for the efforts that we have been making to further enhance all aspects of Customer Care. This Award means a great deal to us and coming so quickly, as it does, after the Insurance Times Loss Adjuster of the Year Award in December 2006, hopefully demonstrates our determination to establish ourselves as the Loss Adjuster of Choice, delivering excellent Customer service hand in hand with Technical competence.

These Awards can only help to increase the Market's awareness of what we seek to offer the Industry. It is particularly satisfying to receive an Award where we are judged by the Insurance Industry and where we are being measured against both major Insurers and Adjusters from within our Industry"

Chris Wilshere has been appointed to head up the specialist liability loss adjusting business, Merlin Liability, formerly Sigma Claims Solutions, with immediate effect. Chris, who was previously UK Liability Manager at Crawford & Co, has been with the company since January 2004. He succeeds fellow directors Simon Burley and Owen Gorman who leave next year to pursue other interests.
