SENIOR APPOINTMENTS AT MERLIN LIABILITY SIGNAL NEW PERIOD OF GROWTH

Chris Wilshere has been appointed to head up the specialist liability loss adjusting business, Merlin Liability, formerly Sigma Claims Solutions, with immediate effect. Chris, who was previously UK Liability Manager at Crawford & Co, has been with the company since January 2004. He succeeds fellow directors Simon Burley and Owen Gorman who leave next year to pursue other interests.

In his new role, Chris will be responsible for leading the company through a period of significant investment that will focus on unmatched customer service and technical expertise to deliver a market leading liability adjusting service benefiting from closer ties with its sister businesses. Merlin Liability is part of a group with an ambition of delivering a range of integrated or stand-alone products and services to help Insurers manage every stage in the lifecycle of their claim, with a clear focus on managing and reducing claims' time and costs.

Chris will be supported in his task by Regional Managers Greig Birrell (North East and Scotland/NI), Ronan MacGabhann (North West and Midlands) and Mark Wookey (South and East Anglia).
