Merlin Sponsors IIM Centenary Conference

Merlin is very proud to announce that we will be sponsoring the Insurance Institute of Manchester's Centenary Conference on the 9th March 2012.

The lavish event which will be held at the stunning Hilton Hotel on Manchester's Deansgate marks 100 years since the institute was given it's original Royal Charter by King George V. The day's 'Going for Gold' theme will be prevalent throughout with Former British Olympic Champion, Sally Gunnell OBE announced as as the keynote speaker.

Last year's conference raised over £26,000 for The Cristie Charitable Cancer Fund, and the IIM have said that this year's conference will be even bigger advising attendees to "be prepared to be wowed! We are going to not only celebrate the past 100 years but also look to the future and the challenges and opportunities we face as a sector."

Merlin are great supporters of our industry bodies and look forward to furthering our ongoing relationship of the IIM and Chartered Insurance Institute as a whole throughout their centenary year.
