Merlin shortlisted for 2009 Insurance Times Award

We are delighted to announce that Merlin has been named as a finalist in the prestigious 2009 Insurance Times Awards in the category of Loss Adjuster of the Year.
The awards will be presented to the winners on Friday 4th December at a ceremony to be held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, Birmingham. As always, the highly regarded event will be attended by leading figures in the industry.
Merlin’s submission was around how we have successfully developed a unique proposition, Total Claims Management Solution (TCMS), underpinned by Xactware, software that through the Merlin TCMS process delivers:
1. Reduced Indemnity Spend,
2. Reduced Claims Lifecycle and Complexity
3. Enhanced Customers experience and choice in line with TCF
4. Shared risk and performance rewards
This follows our success at the British Insurance Awards in July of this year, when we were honoured to win the Loss Adjuster Initiative of the Year Award. Merlin’s submission was around how Merlin has grown from a traditional loss adjusting company to be a multi-faceted Total Claims Management Solution and Loss Adjusting Services Group. We set out how the development of our Total Claims Management Solution, together with the highly successful adoption of the Xactware software applications, has been a major business initiative for Merlin, whilst at the same time improving the customer claim journey.
Richard Webster, Merlin’s Chief Executive Officer commented that, “Being named a finalist for the 2009 Insurance Times Awards is yet another indication that we are taking something different to the market and that we have gauged and understood the changing market demands and have brought a claims solution that is client and customer focused, different and exciting.”
